Officers found multiple doors propped open or ajar at a local business on Sunset Boulevard, with no vehicles present, prompting a security check due to a recent burglary last month. The responsible party declined to respond and requested the building remain unoccupied, including by security personnel.
Around 11:18 AM • Near Water Park, Rocklin
Police responded to a report of a five-year-old kicking her sister in a domestic disturbance. The suspect left the scene in a white Tesla with reporting party waiting near the water park for police arrival.
Between 1:55 PM and 2:10 PM • Rocklin Unified School parking lot and Sierra Meadows neighborhood
Police responded to a possible kidnapping or child custody dispute call, where the suspect was seen throwing a lavender bag in a parking lot. The suspect fled on foot twice before abandoning the backpack and being detained by Officer Niro. Officers confirmed no active warrants for the individual.
Around 9:13 AM • Near Sierra College Boulevard and Three Palfrey Drive
Officers searched for a male slumped over the wheel of a running white Toyota Camry reported unresponsive. The male reportedly left the area before contact. Fire and ambulance were en route, officers maintained welfare check in the area.
Shortly before 9:00 AM • Credit union parking lot, Rocklin
Police were investigating reports of a suspicious person described as Black female or male adult wearing a large wig and multiple layers of clothing attempting to enter a vehicle and heading toward the credit union. Officers continued to follow up on leads.
Around 1:14 PM • Marsh Oak Lane
Officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check for a female who left the hospital with an IV still in her arm. The hospital had repeatedly tried to contact her with no response. Officers attempted contact at her residence.

Police conducted security checks on several properties with doors found ajar at Granite Drive and other locations, as well as welfare checks in the community including at a 7-Eleven on Sierra College Boulevard and a disabled vehicle with broken door entry near Luxor.
